Jennifer Friedman is a singer/songwriter and traveling music minister serving interfaith spiritual communities throughout the United States. She has studied songwriting and song leadership with luminaries such as Holly Near and Dr. Isaye Barnwell of Sweet Honey in the Rock fame. Over the past 8 years, she has presented musical church services and led workshops in Singing, Laughing, Dancing and Dances of Universal Peace at 60 churches in over 17 states and at conferences and events nationally and internationally. Jen is a certified Dance leader and mentor in the Dances of Universal Peace tradition. This fall she will serve on a leadership team presenting Dances of Universal Peace at the Parliament of World Religions in Salt Lake City and she has been the featured guest leader at several well-loved Dance Camps, including three retreats in 2015. She recently completed a Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology in Denver. She serves her local Longmont community as a part-time hospital chaplain, a member of the music team for Unity Longmont Spiritual Center and in co-leading the Longmont Dances of Universal Peace circle. Jen is known for her warm and welcoming, come as you are style of leadership.
