Mackenzie Page

Mackenzie Page

Born and raised in the West, Mackenzie Page embodies it’s adventurous and free spirit though her music, poetry and deep love of nature. She is most known for her contributions to former Colorado based folk band Gipsy Moon and brought texture, and depth to the project with her poetry, sultry voice, tenor banjo and guitar playing.

Mackenzie has performed sold out shows with the likes of Devotchka, Elephant Revival, Ayla Nereo, Fruition, and more, and guested at many festivals including High Sierra Music Festival, North West String Summit, and Arise just to name a few. She is a maker of sound, a sculptor of silence, a conductor of emotion.

With lyrics steeped in nature and sounds of an older time, she serenades with jazz melodies, folk poetry, and pop grooves;  in combinations unique to her.

Currently, Mackenzie is working on her debut solo album, “When Roses Bloom at Night”. Produced by the talented Dominic John Davis (bass for Jack White, producer for Greensky Bluegrass) and recorded at Mountain Star Studios, she is collecting past unrecorded tunes and new channeled ballads like flowers for a bouquet. Stay tuned for more details. Due to be released late fall.
