MaQi Star is a revolutionary performance artist from the heart of Boulder Colorado. She started fire dancing in the summer of 2000 which guided her on a journey of a life time. She is one of the original Lunar Fire Dancers creating myth magic through performance and inspirational costume and fire prop creation. Aside from coordinating performance art at Sonic Bloom and Arise Music Festival, she has performed with Elephant Revival, Shpongle, Michael Franti, String Cheese Incident, Fractal Tribe and Kan Nal. She teaches aerial at the Boulder Circus Center with Aircat and Up Down Circus as well as the Shining Mountain Waldorf School Circus program. Performance art is an opportunity for her to express her creative heart and visions with the world.
