We are “sisters” to two Children’s Projects in Guatemala (aka Guatemaya):
1)We are building a “sisterhood” with Kanika and the Camino Canicas Children’s Project
Support Kanika in Establishing a Permanent Home for Street Children in San Marcos La Laguna
We are committed to supporting Kanika in securing a more permanent and stable home for street children in San Marcos La Laguna, as of now; they are offering Children’s Programs for street children- but before the pandemic they had a home to host children at. Our dream is help them securing a more permanent home for children to be nourished. Currently the best way to contribute is by donating to their GoFundMe Campaign.
2) Expanding Research & Team Development for a Children’s Home in Tecpán
We aim to return this year to gain a clearer understanding of the necessary steps to acquire a suitable home and establish a sustainable fundraising strategy for this vital project. 
Our vision for Tecpán includes not only providing shelter for children in need but also developing programs to support children with disabilities and learning differences. The home is currently open, and we are exploring creative possibilities to maximize its impact. This phase involves in-depth research, team-building efforts, and collaboration with local organizations to ensure a well-structured, sustainable model for long-term success. Now accepting inquiries to be part of a team and/or visit Guatemala on this Travel with Purpose Project.
